Annual Meeting - October 22
The Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council hosts an Annual Dinner meeting that is free to all friends of the Trail community as well as to members. It is held on the 4th Thursday of October. This year it will be held at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. 26800 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas, CA on October 22nd. The social hour is at 6 pm, the dinner is at 7 pm., and the meeting begins at 7:45 pm.
Representatives from various land agencies such as National Park Service (NPS), California State Parks (CSP), Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy (SMMC) / Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority (MRCA), Mountains Restoration Trust (MRT) attend and bring us up to date on their projects and activities. In addition, representatives of legislators, local land agencies, and many partnering organizations share their information with us.
It is a time for trail enthusiasts to come together to share and exchange thoughts and ideas, to meet new people and to renew acquaintances.
